This 2023 calendar is a great project to break in a new machine or to jump start your crafting in the new year!
Last year, I took the 2022 Gnome Calendar from Design Space replaced the images. Cricut hasn’t released a new design for 2023, and so I replaced the year and calendar grids for the new year.
The calendar is 8.5″ x 11″ and has space for writing notes on important dates. This calendar can be cut for free without a Cricut Access subscription on Cricut Explore and Maker machines. I used the contour feature to remove the images and replace them with other images in Design Space that are free as of this writing.
Here’s what my version looks like:
I used the Tingler Script font from FontBundles.

Tips and Tricks
You can personalize this project by mixing up the pen and cardstock color combinations. A quick tip – if you have textured cardstock, put it down on the mat with the smooth side facing up to get the best results with the pens.
The Foil Transfer Kit can also be used to create the calendar grid.
The calendar uses insert pieces for the background, and so no glue is needed!
I did use two machines at once to make this project go a little faster. To open another copy of the project, click File>New Window on the desktop version of Design Space.
Here are the Design Space links for this project:
In case you have a slower device or connection, I have broken the project up into four files:

Hi. Thanks for sharing this beautiful project. I would like to know which font did you use for the months. I do speak French and I would like to change the months in French.
Thank you. I used Tingler Script from FontBundles: https://fontbundles.net/geekmissy/2003-the-tingler-a-font-duo-with-stencil-style?ref=45Zc9N. (affiliate link)
Thanks Lydia! Looks great!
