There are some great images from Printable Cuttable Creatables in Design Space that are included with the Cricut Access subscription. I thought this potted flower would be fun for a Mother’s Day card.

Tips and Tricks

This card is a great scrap buster. I like to put several layers on one mat, and then eject and reload between layers. If you make all the layers the same color, the Cricut will cut all the pieces at once, but I find this way a bit less confusing for me, and it doesn’t take too much longer. I use the Cardstock for Intricate Cuts setting for the best results.

I used glue dots on the white layer since it goes on the embossed layer. I like using glue dots because I know they will hold securely every time, and the paper won’t warp. If you are using textured cardstock for the layers with writing, be sure to put it on the mat textured side down.
