Mother’s Day is a great time to celebrate mothers, but it can be a difficult time for some people. I saw this image in Design Space and thought it would make a nice card for someone who is grieving the loss of a mother or a child. A note from a friend could mean the world to someone who has experienced loss.
About the Design
I have included to versions in the project file. One has and debossing pattern attached and can be cut and debossed with the Cricut Maker and the Debossing Tip. Hide the version you don’t want to cut before clicking Make It.
Debossing is a different look from embossing, and it does take a while for the Cricut Maker to do. Here’s my post comparing debossing and embossing.
Supplies I Used:
- Photo Paper (for print then cut)
- Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser
- 3D Foam Squares (optional)
- Cricut Scoring Wheel Tip
- Cricut QuickSwap Housing
- Cricut Maker
- Embossing Folder
- Gemini Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
