Here is the US, we often hope for a white Christmas with sledding and snowmen, but in other parts of the world, Christmas is literally a day at the beach! This card is perfect for someone who likes to spend the holidays soaking in the sun. It uses the Print the Cut feature and can be cut with a Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machine. It will cut for free with a Cricut Access subscription, or the images can be purchased in Design Space.

Techniques I Used

As you can see, the Surfing Santa image from Design Space doesn’t have a solid background. I actually cut all the pieces out and tried to assemble them on the card, and I couldn’t make it work well. So, I welded a lot of white shapes together in order to have a solid background for Print then Cut. It’s all set up and ready to print in my project file.
I used adhesive vinyl for the “Warm Christmas Wishes” sentiment. I transferred it with painter’s tape since it’s less likely to damage paper or cardstock. Pulling straight back on the painter’s tape will help the smaller pieces to transfer.
