My niece loves the family’s Golden Retriever so much, and I wanted to incorporate one into her birthday card. This file from Lori Whitlock was perfect to pair with a book! This is a fun project that is sure to impress any recipient.
Supplies I used:
- Cardstock
- Glitter Cardstock
- Ink
- Blending tool
- Cricut Pens
- Googly Eyes
- Therm O Web Zots Singles-Medium
- Glue Dots (Mini)
- Art Glitter Glue Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
- Needle Tip Glue Bottle Applicator
- Crafty Foam Tape, White
- Zip-top Plastic Bag
- 5mm Laminating Pouch
- Cricut Maker
Lori has a great video tutorial for this card. She demonstrates the assembly process from start to finish.
For the slider piece, she suggests cutting one out of a clear takeout container. I didn’t have one of those, and so I put a 5mm laminating pouch through the laminator empty to make that piece. It worked very well.
