Each week, a different set of images is free to cut in Design Space. This week’s free images are from the JGoode Designs Holiday Sampler image set. These are wonderful holiday images, and many of them use pens to draw embellishments.

You can save any projects you design with these images, but they will only be free to cut until November 22, when a new set of images will be available to cut. Click here for more about the weekly free images and how to find them.
There are several Ready to Make projects that use these images. You can always customize any of these projects and remove any images you don’t own from them.

The Merry Christmas Three Trees Card uses the Christmas tree from this image set. The snowflakes are free in Design Space, but there is a snowflake on the Holiday Sampler set that could be used as well.

Here are the supplies I used to make my card:
• Cardstock
• Glitter Cardstock (snowflakes)
• Cricut Pen
• Silver Glitter Tape
• Glue Dots
• Xyron Mega Runner
• Xyron Create-A-Sticker Mini 2.5″
• Zig Glue Pen
• 3D Foam Squares

The Ready to Make version from Design Space uses a written font that is in Cricut Access. In order to make this project cut for free if you don’t have Access, I used SantElia Rough Line from FontSquirrel. This font is thin enough that it looks like a single line font when set to write. The glitter tape goes over the seam between the red and blue pieces.

In my project, I made the red tree decorations a slightly different color so they would go to a different mat. I wanted to cut them separately from the red rectangle with the writing because they need to be cut on the intricate setting.
