I made Valentine cards again this year for our church’s homebound member ministry. When making 50 of one card, I need for it to be easy to cut and assemble! This card has a print then cut Bible verse on the front and a drawn inside sentiment. You can easily change the sentiment on the front, inside, or both.
Supplies I Used:
- Red Cardstock
- Black Shimmer Cardstock
- White Cardstock
- Metallic Foil Paper (Red)
- Cricut Pen
- Xyron Creative Station
- Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser
- Transfer Tape
- A2 Envelopes
- QuickSwap™ Housing
- Scoring Wheel Tip
- Canon TS9521C All-In-One Wireless Crafting Photo Printer
- Cricut Explore
- Cricut Maker

Assembling the Card

This is a very simple card to assemble. The piece with the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment goes on the inside. The black layer and the print then cut layer go on the front. I used my Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser for these layers.

I used metallic foil paper and adhesive vinyl for the heart, but cardstock could also be used. I used my Xyron Creative Station to make the hearts into stickers. Glue would show through because the paper is so thin.

Adhesive vinyl and HTV can be great for cardstock projects. I use a previously used piece of transfer tape or stick a new piece to my shirt a few times to remove the excess stickiness. I only press on the area where the vinyl is before removing the transfer tape. This is a good way to use up vinyl scraps.
Here is the link to my Design Space file. This project will cut for free with a Cricut Access subscription.
