This Dad and Baby Turtle image from the Parents of the Animal Kingdom image set in Design Space is just adorable, and I thought it would look great on a Father’s Day card. This cute card comes together quickly and easily. The images are all included in the Cricut Access subscription.

About the Design

I didn’t want to deal with cutting the tiny brown spots on the turtle legs, and so I changed them to Draw in Design Space. My Cricut machine drew the outline, and I filled them in with the same pen.

The black pieces for the eyes are also fairly small, and I like googly eyes, and so that’s what I used in place of those pieces.

The background waves can also be done with the Foil Transfer Tool. I have included files for pens and for the Foil Tool.
Supplies I Used:
- Cardstock
- Cricut Pen
- Foil Transfer Tool (optional)
- Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser
- Art Glitter Glue Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
- Needle Tip Glue Bottle Applicator
- Therm O Web Zots Singles, Small
- Googly Eyes
- A2 Envelope
- Cricut Scoring Wheel Tip
- Cricut QuickSwap Housing
- Cricut Maker
