I needed to make a graduation card and wanted something a little different from the usual cap and gown designs. I used a hot air balloon and other images from Design Space to create this quick and easy card. I also included a birthday sentiment in the layers panel that could be used for the front. All the images used are included in the Cricut Access subscription. The Design Space project link is at the bottom of this post.
About the Design

I inked the edges of the clouds and the light blue piece.

I used foam squares on the front sentiment and the balloon. I’ve started using these foam squares, and they add the perfect amount of dimension for a card being mailed.

I used painter’s tape to apply the vinyl for the inside sentiment. The vinyl releases easily if you pull straight back on the tape.
Supplies I Used:

- Cardstock
- Cricut Pen
- Adhesive Vinyl
- Painter’s Tape
- Color Petal Ink Pads
- Mini Ink Blending Set
- Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser
- Art Glitter Glue Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
- Needle Tip Glue Bottle Applicator
- 3L Scrapbook Adhesive Permanent Pre-Cut 3D Foam Mounting Squares
- Cricut Scoring Wheel Tip
- Cricut QuickSwap Housing
- Cricut Maker
