November 11 is Veterans Day in the US, and it’s always good to remember our favorite veterans with a card. Here are two cards I did for family members this year.

I made this card on my Cricut Maker using images from Design Space cut from HTV. Click here for the Design Space file.

Supplies I used:

Check out this post for more information about using HTV on cardstock.

This card is a Ready-to-Make project in Design Space for the Card Mats. It is Cricut’s R20 (A2) size. I love making insert cards with my Cricut Joy because they are so quick and don’t need any adhesive. This post has more information about making cards with the Cricut Joy and the Cricut Joy Card Mat.

  1. Do you have assembly instructions for the Land of the Free Veteran’s Day Card? Also, when I upload the Design Space File for this card, there is a diagonal score line across the blue card base causing that page to go onto a 12×24 mat that does not seem to be necessary. Please help with this file. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this file.

    1. I don’t have assembly instructions for this card. It’s assembled from the bottom up like a regular card. There is a link above ( to a post about adding HTV to cards, which is used for the top of the front of the card and the inside sentiment. Adhesive vinyl or print then cut can also be used.

There’s nothing to upload for this card as it’s a Design Space file already. I’ve opened this file with two different DS accounts, and I’m not getting a diagonal score line anywhere. I would suggest signing out of DS and rebooting your computer. If that doesn’t work, delete and reinstall Design Space.
