I’ve been enjoying creating new projects with my We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill. Gemma from Digital Gems has created a new design that is perfect for the foil quill. This is a single-line sketch/drawing file that is designed to be used with pens or with a foil quill.

You can purchase the design at DesignBundles.

When you upload the image and insert it into Design Space, it’s going to look a little odd, but don’t worry! All you need to do is change the linetype from cut to draw in the edit bar at the top of the screen.

Once the linetype is set to draw, it’s ready to be attached to a shape.

I included a “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Greeting Card Sentiments image set which is part of the Cricut Access subscription.

I used a Cricut Glitter Gel Pen to write a sentiment for the inside with the Be Mine font, which is also included in Cricut Access. Here’s more about writing on the inside of a card.

I put the image to be foiled at the bottom of the mat to make it easier to remove the foil while the machine is paused. Here’s more about using the WRMK Foil Quill.

I recreated the file without the uploaded image, and so all you need to do is purchase the cat image and upload it to Design Space if you want to recreate this card. The other images and font that I used will cut free with a Cricut Access subscription.
