I give Starbucks gift cards to all my son’s teachers, and I usually make a holder for them to make them really special. Earlier this year, Dreaming Tree released a free design for this Penguin Gift Card Holder, and I just love penguins!

My Supply List:
- Double-sided cardstock (I used American Crafts brand)
- Cardstock (The medium blue is Bazzil)
- Cricut Glitter Cardstock
- Pearl Paper
- Cricut Glitter Pen
- Glue dots
- Small googly eyes
- Xyron Mega Runner
- Xyron Creative Station
- Double-sided tape
- 3D Foam Squares

I didn’t have a heart rhinestone or other embellishment for the scarf, and so I cut a snowflake from Design Space out of glitter cardstock. The inside sentiment is from Design Space by JGoode Designs.

I ran out of snowflake paper, and so I made the last four with different double-sided paper. I cut the scarf and hat out of the same paper, which sped up the process a little bit.

If you need an easy project to dress up your gift cards, this penguin gift card holder is perfect! Happy crafting!
