This super quick and easy card would work for Mother’s Day, birthdays, or as a sympathy card. Simply change the inside sentiment to match the occasion. The image is from the Shabby Chic Cutaway Card Elements image set in Design Space, and Cricut Access subscribers can cut this card for free.

Tips and Tricks
I forgot to change to the Cardstock for Intricate Cuts setting for the second mat, and it didn’t cut well. I changed the setting and cut it again, and it cut perfectly. It’s easy to see from this comparison how much better the results are with the Cardstock for Intricate Cuts setting.
I used Clear Path Pearlescent Purple Cardstock for the middle layer, and I recommend the Poster Board setting and cutting twice for that material.
