Design Space Project: Easy Graduation Card

It’s time to celebrate graduates! I put together a simple and easy card with images that will cut for free with a Cricut Access subcription. There’s lots you can do to embellish and personalize this card.

Supplies I used:

I used the owl for my card, but I included some other images in the file that are included in the Cricut Access subscription. They are hidden in the layers panel.

I flattened the owl to make it a Print then Cut image, but it wouldn’t be too hard to piece if you want to do that or if you are using the Cricut Joy. I cut an extra layer for the owl to make it a bit stronger since I put it on a wobble.

Assembly

After cutting out all the pieces, I embossed the blue layer with my Gemini.

This card goes together very quickly, and it would be easy to make several at once. I glued the owl pieces together with Art Glitter Glue and used my tape runner on the large pieces.

I used little dots of Art Glitter Glue to put the sentiment together. I put small foam squares on the back to add some dimension. I use an old weeding tool to remove the paper from the foam squares.

I put a wobble on the owl, just because I think they’re fun. This is totally optional, and you could also use glue or foam squares on this.

Here’s the link to the project file.
Congratulations to all the graduates!
