Cricut has recently made changes to the Images tab in Design Space to make it easier to find what you need out of the thousands of images available. There are loads of free images you can use without a Cricut Access subscription. Here’s how to find them:
First, after you log into Design Space, click on New Project.
Next, click on Browse All Images.
Now, click on the plus sign next to Ownership to expand the menu.
Select the Free box under Ownership. This will bring up all the images that will cut for free at this time. Cricut periodically changes which images are offered for free. At the time I’m writing this, there are 3,673 free images available.
You can also search within the free images. If I was looking for a free birthday card or image, I can enter “birthday” in the search box. In this example, that narrows it down to 36 results.
There are lots of other filters you can add to your image search. I selected Print Fill to see only the free print then cut images in Design Space. You can always look at the top to see how many filters you have set. If you want to start over, just click Clear All.
You can save a free image in a project in your Design Space account. If the image is no longer free when you go to cut it, you will have to purchase it or subscribe to Cricut Access in order to cut it. If it is still being offered for free, you can cut it for free.
Hope this helps! Happy crafting!
