This Floral Card from the Kim Byers – Mother’s Day image set has been part of the Ready to Make projects for some time, but the image set has only recently been included as a part of the Cricut Access subscription. I love the watercolor look of the print then cut flowers on the front. If you want to view the Ready to Make project with the instructions, go to “Projects” and search for “floral card.”
Supplies I used:
- Cardstock (Purple and Gray)
- Cardstock (White for Print then Cut)
- Cricut Glitter Gel Pen
- Cricut Shimmer Paper, Silver
- Double-Sided E-Z Runner Grand Adhesive Dispenser
- Glue Dots
- Foam Squares
I added a written sentiment to the inside using the Easton and P.S. writing fonts included in Cricut Access.
I used Cricut Silver Shimmer Paper for the leaves. I like how this design uses print then cut and piecing techniques.
I used foam squares to raise the large print then cut flowers.
The only thing left to do for the card is to attach the front to the card base.
The envelope uses two print then cut flowers and two of the silver leaves.
