Dimensional Scenes – Pretty Posies

Each week, a different set of images is free to cut in Design Space. This week’s free images are from the Dimensional Scenes – Pretty Posies image set. You can save any projects you design with these images, but they will only be free to cut until January 10, when a new set of images will be available to cut. Click here for more about the weekly free images and how to find them.

This image set has write then cut images as well as cut images. The cut images are meant to be used with foam squares or 3D glue dots for a raised look.

I made the Dimensional Circle Border from this set as a 12″x12″ shadow box project. I used write then cut to put a Bible verse in the middle. Another option would be to put a last name with a date as a wedding or anniversary gift.

I reversed the cut using the contour function on the largest piece (blue) since I needed it to be the full 12″ across.

Assembling the project wasn’t too difficult. Here are a few pictures of the process:

The link to my project is here. Since I was doing so much written text, I put that in a separate file.

There are also some beautiful Ready to Make projects in Design Space that use these images. Go to projects and search for “posies.”
